We received a call at 4am that Nala was almost done at customs. So we jumped in the car and reached the kennel at 4.30am. I didn’t know what to expect, if she’d be confused, tired, scared..? But she was so excited and happy to see us that she peed herself!!! 😀 So I assume the journey had gone well.
Once we got home she was super thirsty. And she curiously and thoroughly inspected her new home. She didn’t seem tired at all but luckily after some intensive playing/messing around in bed also she fell asleep. All of us slept until noon. 🙂
We went for a long walk around the lakes today and threw some ball. She was panting a little and her tongue was out all the time (which I hardly ever see) so I bought her a small water bottle and she finished it straight out of the bottle! Lol. Poor thing must be dehydrated after the flight and also, it’ll probably take a while for her to get used to the new climate. But she definitely seemed to enjoy the walk and the warmth!
When we got back I washed her with her new fancy shampoo. Now she smells like passionfruit. Mmmm 🙂
She’s half laying on my computer keyboard half on my lap while I’m writing this. She says WOOF 🙂 and also we’d like to wish all of you – HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY FINLAND!!!!!
