Day 2: Blueberry Spinach Booster Smoothie


(Recipe and “4 Healthy Smoothie Facts” by Young and Raw)

  • 1 Rib of Celery
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • ½ Cup of Raspberries or Blueberries
  • 1 Handful of Kale or Spinach
  • 1 Cup of Water or Coconut Water
  • (I added 1 tbsp of Chia Seeds)

I used blueberries, spinach and coconut water. I really liked this one (as you can see from the picture, too busy enjoying it to remember to take a snap). Will for sure make it again. Maybe I’ll try it with rasberries and as soon as kale is back in season (out of stock in Dubai at the moment) I’ll try that, too.

4 Healthy Smoothie Facts!
1. Celery is high in b vitamins, which are important for a properly functioning metabolism.
2. Bananas are an easily digestible source of energy.
3. Raspberries and blueberries are high in anti-oxidants, which help to fight free radical damage.
4. Kale is a rich source of calcium!

    • Hej kusin vitamin 🙂 Vad roligt att höra! Jo man känner sej verkligen hälsosam efter man hållit på ett tag, de e ganska roligt. Vissa e helt super goda o andra måst lite fin-slipas 😉 Men de e hurja hur ens smaklökar förändras fort oxo.

      • jag har de jätte bra här, om 7 veckor måst jag åka hem till Finland! jag med faktiskt, tänkte att jag måst börja blogga igen om nånting när jag har tid 🙂 altså vad är det för challenge denhär smoothie grejjen? 🙂
