Hi there, it’s been a while. Blogging for me is a bit like that, sometimes I feel inspired and sometimes I just can’t be bothered.
It’s been a good couple of months. I’m practicing ashtanga yoga every day (or at least 6 times a week) and I’m loving it. I’ve learned a lot, made a lot of progress and I feel like a new person. It’s very addictive. Yoga Room is one of my favorite places, I’ve made many new friends and I have a very good teacher.
We’ve also had time for more guests. Today I drove my dear cousin/best friend Sofia to the airport after having enjoyed her and her fiancé’s company for the past week! 🙂
I’m looking forward to the month of March. There are some changes happening that I’ll tell you about later, plus, we’re both heading on vacations – Mikko’s off to the French alps and I’m flying to Goa for a yoga retreat at Purple Valley. I’m so excited!!!!!
At the moment I’m participating in a “30 Day Green Smoothie Challenge” by Young and Raw. We receive weekly shopping lists via email and every evening I get the following mornings smoothie recipe. It’s been a great experience so far! I feel very healthy and have noticed changes in my energy levels, mood and body. It also inspires me to eat healthy the rest of the day. My sugar cravings are as good as gone!
So with all of these wonderful (and weird) recipes I’m becoming quite the smoothie expert. I figured I’d share these recipes and my thoughts about them here with you. I’m on Day 8 now, but I’ll start from the beginning. This is not a diet or detox, I usually have my smoothie for breakfast and then eat normally the rest of the day (however more healthy then before).
Aaaah, it feels good to write again. 🙂
Hope all of you are well, have a wonderful weekend!
